Parsley

Italian Flat Leaf and Curly varieties available.  Its dark green leaves grow on 12-18" tall plants.  Parsley is a very nutritious herb with large quantities of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. 

Chives  

Mild onion flavor is perfect for vegetables, soups, eggs and more. It also produces edible purple flowers in the spring that are shaped like small lollipops. Chives are a perennial and grow in clumps that reach 2-feet tall.

Cilantro

An herb with wide delicate lacy green leaves and a pungent flavor. The seed of the cilantro plant is known as coriander.  Cilantro is not heat tolerant, though this variety is slower to bolt.

Sweet Thai Basil

Dark green and purple striped leaves with purple flowers.  It has a very sweet  anise flavor that is commonly used in Asian dishes.

Lemon Basil / Lime Basil

Amazing lemon (or lime)  flavor and fragrance, which makes it well-suited for fish and other seafood dishes, as well as in vinegars, salad dressings, sauces and teas.  It's Rick's favorite to add to salads and pasta dishes.

Sweet Basil 

Great companion plant for tomatoes peppers. Repels aphids and mosquitoes.  A heavy producing, spicy-flavored herb that grows on bright green 24” tall plants with white, fragrant flowers.  This herb is a must-have for the home cook and gardener.

Lettuce selections vary from week to week at the market, and if you pre-order you can select your lettuce choices at pick-up. Lettuce varieties may include: arugula, black seeded simpson, green oakleaf, red romaine, green romaine, green oakleaf, swiss chard, lacinto kale, lolla rosa, spinach and more!

Mint (Spearmint)

Best in a container since roots are invasive.  Used for its wonderful flavor as well as for its medicinal benefits.  Grow in full sun/part shade for best results.

Dill

 The seeds can be used as a spice for making pickles, and the leaves can be used as an herb that is wonderful in salads and soups, and for flavoring lamb, fish, vegetables, and sauces.

Oregano

This perennial thrives in a container.  An excellent addition to pizza, tomato sauces, and other Italian dishes. In addition, it can be added to meats, cheese and egg dishes, vegetables, breads and shellfish. 

​Thyme

 Perennial herb in our area, used to flavor meats, poultry, soups, stews, sauces, fish and more. Good beneficial insect attractant.  Thyme also has medicinal qualities and is used to treat sore throats and cough, and can be used in tea and massage oil.
